Pins and needles

We accepted an offer on the house--for our full asking price!!--but we're not in the clear yet. We have to pass the appraisal and inspection hurdles, which leaves us on pins and needles. Even more nerve-wracking is the knowledge that this couple backed out on another house just a few weeks ago based on the inspection findings.

Hear that glub, glub? That's my stomach flip-flopping and my left over Cinco de Mayo meal slushing about. Come on clean inspection and appraisal equal to our selling price!!

You've taken good care of your house. THere may be some minor findings on the inspections (there often are since the inspectors get paid to find things). Sometimes you can dispute the findings - we had a wierd finding when we sold our house about the hot water heater flue being too close to a wooden stairway. When we inquired after it - the finding went away. Your beatuiful house will be fine. I am very happy for you both, I mean all three of you! THanks for sharing the news. Please keep us posted.

I hope the Cinco de Mayo meal was at least enjoyable. Sounds great on the house.
