Some Christmas Spirit
Three articles down, two to go. Almost all gifts purchased. One tree up and decorated. One little girl who's learning about Santa...and Jesus (and has her own little Nativity set with which to play). One Peruvian hat someone is so in love with that she wears it even in the house. Some good, old-fashioned Christmas carols played. (Thank you for the good advice, Mike Z!) Snow falling steadily and covering everything in a thick blanket. And some cooking to occur this weekend. A little of the Christmas spirit, which managed to be found:

Cute hat! I wish I could get Bean to wear a hat. She has a black one. She likes to talk about it. She calls it her "meow-meow hat" because it has some furlike trim. But she will not wear it. And it would look so cute with her black coat!
I am so behind on Christmas stuff -- no tree yet, no Christmas cards, few presents bought, nothing wrapped, no Christmas photos, and we haven't seen Santa.
However, we plan to see the Christmas fairy princess on Saturday, and I haven an appointment next week for photos ... I just hope we can get everything done in time!

Hmmm... would Becca's Nativity set be a certain Paraguayan Nativity set bought with love by a certain Aunt FaFa? Hope she gets to play with it this year!
